Dr. Gisemba is a lecturer at the Department of public health and nutrition, with interest in Health and Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Her passion is on matters Health and Community Development in relation to income generating activities using the concept of entrepreneurship to improve their health and social status. Dr. Gisemba has been involved in training the youth and women on how they can use the untapped resources that are available within their reach to improve their standards of living. Dr Gisemba has been involved in empowering communities in matters health and enterprise development e. g churches, schools, middle level colleges. Currently working with women in a slum in Nairobi on primary health care and which in turn can be used as a learning community for experiential visits for Kemu students
