Catherine Makandi is a lecturer in the department of Medical Laboratory Sciences – a fundamental organ of the KeMU School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She has over 15 years of teaching experience in higher education, and has spent quite a substantial length of her teaching career on teaching Clinical Chemistry.
Professionally, she is a KMLTTB certified laboratory technologist with broad expertise in clinical laboratory testing and has practiced in this area for at least 5 years.
She understands that successful students become successful adults. She is so efficient in her job. Because of her skills, Catherine can produce productive results.
She maintains regularly-scheduled office hours to advise and assist students. She is also available via email and phone outside of office hours.
She is interested in teaching, research and community affairs.
