Biography

Dr. Muriira is a lecturer with interest in; Information System Management and Data Analytics especially, data correlation, and application of Deep Neural Networks for prediction.

His philosophy is firstly, utilizing Information Communication and Technology better by engaging it in research to meet society’s needs. Secondly, exploration of the evolving high performance computing and state-of-the-art communication initiatives to support the education’s information infrastructure.

He is a certified BPO Academy Trainer (BCI20B/BCAT/KEN/NBI/KEMU/65934528) and trained as a Train the Trainer by RIPA International. He was a resource person for a consultancy project KICTB/KTCIP/RFP/1812011-2012 for the Vision 2030 under the Social pillar (Establishment of Centres of Specialization) – Centre of Excellence (CoE). KeMU was a partner organization for Enabled IT Services (ITES) training and content development.

Dr. Muriira was involved in training the trainers and developed content for the following courses: CTC 012 – PC and Network Fundamentals, CTC 016 – Office Productivity Tools, and CTC 018 – Internet and e-Communication Tools. He is currently involved in another project “Smart Monitoring of Water Quality for Urban Irrigation and Domestic Supply by Exploiting IoT in Nairobi River”, funded by KENET.
