KeMU was honored to host Dr. Vicki Ellingrod from The University of Michigan, College of Pharmacy, USA, alongside Marilyn Makandi. They were warmly received by the Chair of the University Council, Rev. Dr. Catherine Mutua, and the Vice Chancellor, Rev. Prof. John Kobia Ataya.
The visit provided an opportunity to discuss and explore potential areas of academic collaboration engagements between KeMU and the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. A joint meeting was held which was also attended by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Planning & Finance, Dr. Eliab Seroney Some, the Dean School of Medicine and Pharmacy Prof. Alice Muranga, representatives from the Department of Pharmacy led by the Chair of the Department, Dr. Mkoji Prudence, and Ms. Joccylyn Mwikali from the Partnerships and Collaborations Office.
This engagement marks another step toward strengthening academic and research partnerships, fostering growth, and expanding opportunities for global collaborations. #KeMUCollaborations
