Philosophy of the University

Admission Requirements

  1. Be a holder of KCSE certificate(or equivalent examination) with a minimum aggregate of C and minimum of C in Biology and Chemistry and minimum C- in English/ Kiswahili and Maths/Physics or;
  2. Be a holder of Division II in E.A.C.E with credit passes in:

Alternative A: English/Kiswahili

Alternative B:    English/Kiswahili
    Biology Sciences

  1. Be a holder of KACE with a minimum of one principal pass in biology and subsidiary pass in Chemistry, Maths/Physics. Or
  2. Be a holder of any other qualification accepted by the University senate as equivalent to any of the above

The mode of study for this programme is full-time

Program duration

Students pursuing the diploma in Clinical Medicine are expected to complete the program within two academic years (7 trimesters)

Graduation Requirements

A general minimum of 70 credits is required for graduation with a Diploma. A student must have completed all the core courses of a program and obtained a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher at the end of the program
