Search Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC)

The OPAC assist the user to find books and items housed in the library. The OPAC is user friendly as it accepts searches through the author, title and subject. Information on how to search the OPAC is available at each OPAC computer. To create the OPAC the library uses integrated information management software called KOHA.  Search the Library

Reference & Information Services

The reference desk assists users in general reference questions pertaining to all collections and services of the library. Printing and photocopying

These services are available to all users at a cost. Users are advised to strictly observe the copyright law while photocopying and printing.

Inter-library Loan Services

Information items required by the user and are not held by the library are borrowed from a partner library on behalf of the user. The user is however responsible for the care of the borrowed item. Contact head of user services.

Reader Places

All campus libraries have adequate reading spaces for undergraduate and postgraduate students that are conducive to study and research. Use of laptops is allowed in the reading and study areas to facilitate in the use of each library wireless connection. These areas are for quiet reading and study and users are expected to observe silence as talking or using mobile phones is not allowed.

User Training

New users are oriented in the use of the library information resources and facilities. Training is also provided on one to one basis and to groups as part of the information literacy services.

Information services for visually and physically challenged
