KeMU wins ICT Pinnacle Award from Computer Society of Kenya

Thursday, 22nd November 2012: The University’s robust and sustained investments in current and emerging ICT’s for teaching, learning, research and service delivery enhancement got a major recognition recently when the University was given the award for Best Institution of Higher Learning in Use of ICT 2012 by the Computer Society of Kenya (CSK). The award was received at the CSK’s 17th Annual ICT Pinnacle Awards Ceremony held at the Laico Regency Hotel, Nairobi on the 22nd November 2012.

Vision 2030 Course

The Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat has developed a unique, very interesting and exciting course on Vision 2030. The Course is ENTIRELY ONLINE and is geared towards making the learner understand the many tenets of Vision 2030 and how everyone has a role to paly in it as well as the opportunities in it.

KeMU Mombasa Campus Wins Award at Show

We are glad to announce that the Mombasa Campus has got an award for the 3rd Best Higher Education Stand at the Mombasa ASK Show.

This is a great achievement for the campus, as it is the first time that it has won an award at the event. There were other categories that the campus participated in, and if we are in the winners circles of any of the remanning categories, we will share the information.

KeMU Taekwondo performs superbly in KUSA women games

The KeMU women taekwondo team participated in the 5th National KUSA women Championship in held at Pwani University from 5th to 6th March 2016. The team finished 2nd overall behind Egerton University. The theme of the tournament was “Pledge for Parity”. The KeMU ladies are the defending champions of the Africa University Games held in Kenya and also the East Africa University Games held in Uganda.KeMU remains the only Institution participating in KTA (Kenya Taekwondo Association). The rest are clubs. 6 Taekwondo women were selected for All Africa Games in Senegal. The team finished 2nd overall in the KUSA games in December at JOOUST.

Mr and Miss KeMU Fashion and Talent Week

It was an afternoon of cheers and joy at KeMU Nairobi Campus on Friday 11th March 2016 during the Talent/Fashion week show. The eagerly awaited event kicked off shortly after 2.30pm after the arrival of the mc’- Mr. Vincent Mutua commonly known as “Chipukeezy” of Churchill Live who graced the day as the main artist.

The theme was “Live your Dream”: Students showcased various fashions and talents including Poetry, Dances, Art, Drama just to mention but a few. It’s key to note that even the staff were not left behind. The event was featured on the Sunday Daily Nation of 13th March (see Page 2 young nation). Special thanks to St. Bakhita Schools for sponsoring the event and Mr.  & Miss KeMU 2015/2016 office for organizing such a successful event
