KeMU Taekwondo performs superbly in KUSA women games

The KeMU women taekwondo team participated in the 5th National KUSA women Championship in held at Pwani University from 5th to 6th March 2016. The team finished 2nd overall behind Egerton University. The theme of the tournament was “Pledge for Parity”. The KeMU ladies are the defending champions of the Africa University Games held in Kenya and also the East Africa University Games held in Uganda.KeMU remains the only Institution participating in KTA (Kenya Taekwondo Association). The rest are clubs. 6 Taekwondo women were selected for All Africa Games in Senegal. The team finished 2nd overall in the KUSA games in December at JOOUST.


Mr and Miss KeMU Fashion and Talent Week

It was an afternoon of cheers and joy at KeMU Nairobi Campus on Friday 11th March 2016 during the Talent/Fashion week show. The eagerly awaited event kicked off shortly after 2.30pm after the arrival of the mc’- Mr. Vincent Mutua commonly known as “Chipukeezy” of Churchill Live who graced the day as the main artist.

The theme was “Live your Dream”: Students showcased various fashions and talents including Poetry, Dances, Art, Drama just to mention but a few. It’s key to note that even the staff were not left behind. The event was featured on the Sunday Daily Nation of 13th March (see Page 2 young nation). Special thanks to St. Bakhita Schools for sponsoring the event and Mr.  & Miss KeMU 2015/2016 office for organizing such a successful event

  1. Abstracts not exceeding 300 words as MS word document (submit soft copy).
  2. Provide authors first name followed by last name, institutional affiliation, email address and phone number.
  3. Corresponding authors’ brief information should be shown in * the full paper should include: title, authors, abstract, introduction, results, discussion and conclusions (main outcome measures) up to 300 words. Format: Times New Roman, font size 12 with single spacing.
  4. CALL FOR PAPERS

Kenya Methodist University invites academicians, scholars, graduate students and policymakers to present papers and posters in the 2nd Annual International Conference. This is a three day conference (from 27th to 29th August, 2014) on the theme, Devolved Government as Key for Wealth Creation.

Abstracts

Prospective presenters should submit Abstracts of not more than 300 words prepared as MS Word document. The Abstract should include the title, author’s first name followed by last name, institutional affiliation, and contact information (mailing address, phone number, and email address). The corresponding author’s information be shown with an asteric (*) 

The final script should be structured as follows: - title, author(s), Abstract, objectives, Key highlights, Introduction, results and conclusions of up to 3,000 words. Submission should be in Times New Roman, font 12, Single spacing.   

Submission deadline

Deadline for submission of abstracts is 30th April, 2014. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by 22nd May, 2014, to prepare and submit full script for publication in conference proceedings by 15th June, 2014.

  • Titles of papers should be concise and specific
