Who are we?
Facilities Services is a diverse and dynamic group of professionals who pride themselves on being dedicated to the provision of support services necessary to promote excellence in the teaching, research and community service activities at KeMU.
The department is comprised of skilled technicians and trades persons, drivers, mechanics, electricians and carpenters, maintenance professionals, clerical assistants, groundskeepers, managers, administrators and more. The team seeks creative and innovative solutions to meet the needs of the university, by providing reliable and timely service at the highest level of service.
The departments responsibilities include campus planning, real estate and property management, development of new buildings, maintenance, operation and renovation of buildings, grounds and utility systems, space and system inventory record keeping, property leases, the stewardship of university grounds, moving services, maintaining an inventory of university buildings and land, operating the vehicle fleet and automotive maintenance shop, parking and transportation services, and support for sustainability initiatives across all our campuses.
