The 86 acre acre farm is located 11 km from the Main Campus along the Kithoka-Ruiri Road.
KeMU University Kithoka Farm is designed to support teaching, research, outreach activities, as well as meet some of the produce needs for the University Catering Services.
The farm has been in the production of livestock for diary and beef, pork production, poultry production, as well as in aquatic production of Catfish and Tilapia.
There has also been the extensive growing of crops that have met some of the university kitchens needs. Produce such as tomatoes, kale, spinach, cabbages, and others are also put on sale for student, staff and faculty to purchase.
